Vanessa RAmos and her five-year-old son Solumen Lopez were killed in a designated crosswalk in San Antonio when a speeding driver jumped a curb and hit them. The investigating officer said that the driver is being investigated for what could be two counts of intoxication manslaughter. The driver was identified as Marlon Daniels. The crash happened April 3, 2024, about 8:30 p.m. near Highway 281 and Stone Oak Parkway.
