At 1:45 a.m. a pedestrian reportedly left Cowboys Dancehall and attempted to cross Loop 410 when he was struck by a sus[ected drunk driver.
An unidentified man was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver as he attempted to cross Loop 410 in San Antonio. The driver was found to be intoxicated and arrested. Identity of the pedestrian is pending notification of next of kin. The driver was identified as Joseph Cortez who was arrested for suspected DWI. It is possible that the pedestrian who was leaving a bar at 1:45 a.m. may have been overserved alcohol which could explain why he was trying to cross the freeway.
