Fort Worth police arrest Andrew Guerra for intoxication assault.
On Saturday January 27, 2024, Fort Worth police arrested Andrew Guerra for intoxication assault after he drove the wrong way on a one-way street, ran from police and hit two pedestrians. Guerra is alleged to have been the driver of a pick-up truck caught on dashcam video running from police who had lights and sirens on. The pedestrians were hospitalized with critical injuries. The West 7th entertainment district is known to have problems with drunk driving and is heavily patrolled by police. The suspect's vehicle hit multiple vehicles and curbs before hitting the pedestrians. The suspect's vehicle blew out a tire and came to rest after hitting a light pole. Blood alcohol results are pending but it would not be surprising to see a high degree of intoxication for this type of behavior.
