An early morning crash on May 25, 2025, claimed the life of Valeri Mireles in Bandera County. The Department of Public Safety investigated the crash which occurred about 1:40 a.m. DPS troopers say that Evan Mazurek crossed the center line and struck Valeri Mireles head-on.
