Sheridan Mercer killed in head-on crash near Borger.
An early morning crash took the life of Sheridan Mercer on June 19, 2023, on Highway 136. Orlando Bustos apparently crossed into the westbound lane where he hit Mercer head-on according to KVII. Highway 136 was closed for about four hours and traffic was diverted to Sanford. An investigation is pending as to whether alcohol was involved.
