Martin Medina arrested for intoxication manslaughter for death of Alexander Ortiz.
On December 17, 2023, around 3:00 a.m., Martin Medina crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler killing his passenger Alexander Ortiz. El Paso police indicate the crash happened on I-10. Alexander Ortiz was from Chaparral, Texas as was his driver Medina. Police indicated that the impact was so severe the roof of the vehicle detached completely.
