Edcouch Police Department arrest Ana Ramirez for intoxication manslaughter after fatal crash on July 18, 2023.
Ana Ramirez was reportedly intoxicated at 11:06 a.m. when she crashed into a vehicle on Highway 87 near Edcouch, Texas. The crashed caused the death of an 87-year-old woman and injured two others. Ana Ramirez was also charged with endangering a child and intoxication assault according to Hidalgo County. The child endangerment charge is reportedly due to Ramirez having her five-year-old son with her in the vehicle while driving intoxicated. Bond was reportedly set at $500,000.00.
