Fort Worth resident Brianna Lopez killed by suspected drunk driver.

On September 27, 2023, shortly after midnight, a wrong-way driver crashed into Brianna Lopez causing fatal injuries. The crash happened on Chisholm Trail near Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth. Brianna Lopez was reportedly driving her Mazda CX5 in the proper lane of travel when Aaron Roberts was driving the wrong-way and crashed head-on into Lopez. Roberts was driving a truck and survived the crash. Aaron Roberts was arrested for intoxication manslaughter. Incredibly, his bond was set at only $45,000.00. This bond is ridiculously low for somebody so drunk they drive the wrong way and kill someone. This photo shows the horrible damage done by drunk driving. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a commercial truck crash near Eagle Pass which took the lives of five family members. The crash happened May 28, 2024 and is still under investigation. The Fed Ex truck driver was hospitalized with injuries but survived. Toxicology tests may show whether he was impaired. It remains unknown why he was driving the wrong way.
