A crash occurred on August 10, 2023, which took the life of Cody Wayne Satterfield. Satterfield was from Seminole. Preliminary investigation indicates that a Silverado pickup truck was southbound on SH 214 when it failed to yield the right of way and turned left in front of Satterfield who driving his Harley Davidson. The crash ejected Satterfield from the Harley and he was struck by another vehicle. No charges have been filed at this date.
