Texas Department of Public Safety investigating fatal crash in Abilene.
Demodrick Lamond Garrett was killed when his Buick SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran a stop signat FM 1082 and SH 351. His vehicle hit a ditch and vaulted into a private driveway. Several passengers in the SUV were also injured and hospitalized. Alcohol was believed to play a factor.
