Fernando Jose Chacon Perez arrested for death of one passenger and injuries to another.
Houston Police arrested Fernando Jose Chacon Perez for intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault for a crash which happened November 9, 2023, at about 11:40 p.m. The crash happened in the 9100 block of Gulf Freeway when Perez hit a tree, utility pole and utility box. His backseat passenger was pronounced dead on the scene. Another passenger was hospitalized with injuries. Perez is in Harris County jail.
