Kaden Forke was only 14 years old when he was killed in a boating accident on Lake Austin.
Kaden Forke was reportedly ejected from a boat when it hit the wake of another boat which remains unidentified. There is no report as to whether Kaden Forke wore a life jacket. Several others on the boat suffered serious injuries. The boat crash happened on August 14, 2023. The Austin Police Department is continuing its investigation. It is a crime to operate a watercraft while under the influence of alcohol. No report yet on whether alcohol was involved.
