Chase Kellar was arrested for intoxication manslaughter in the death of Sheila Ingham in Lumberton, Texas. The crash happened on Highway 69 when Kellar reportedly ran into the back of Ingham's car which was stopped for a red light. Records indicate that he was traveling about 63 m.p.h. in a 45 zone when he hit Ingham's car legally stopped for a red light. A witness had dashcam video which showed Kellar speeding and weaving. He barely tapped his brakes about one second before impact. Hospital records reportedly showed Kellar's blood alcohol level at .321 which is four times the legal limit! Sheila Ingham was described as a loving person who fostered several children and was returning from a high school graduation in Port Arthur. Bail for Kellar was set at $250,000.00 but it wasn't enough to keep Kellar in jail. Kellar, who reportedly has a long criminal record, is free again. Kellar reportedly admitted to drinking alcohol in a bar in Beaumont. In Texas, it is illegal to serve a customer alcohol to the point of intoxication. Kellar was four times the legal limit.
