Edward Rodriguez arrested in deaths of two pedestrians in Austin.
Antonio Luis Trevino Maldonado and Johnny Joe Reyes were killed as they walked along North Lamar about 2:26 a.m. Since local bars at 2:00 a.m. such incidents are suspicious for the over-service of alcohol. The blood alcohol level of Rodriguez is still pending. It is illegal in Texas for bars to serve alcohol to someone who is already obviously intoxicated.
