TCU alum Zach Muckleroy killed by suspected drunk driver in wrong-way crash.
On November 24, 2023, Zach Muckleroy and his family were traveling to visit family for Thanksgiving. Around 8:30 p.m. a suspected drunk driver crossed the center line on Highway 281 and struck the Muckleroy family head-on. Zach Muckleroy and his children Judson and Lindsay were killed in the crash. Jennifer Muckleroy was severely injured and airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin.
