A wrong-way crash on Highway 287 near Waxahachie left two women dead and two others injured. Midlothian police investigated the double fatality crash on November 24, 2023, around midnight. The wrong-way crash happened in the 3800 block of US 287 near Walnut Grove and Plainview roads. Midlothian police identified the victims as Lakeshia Savala and Joanna Cain.
