18-wheelers slam into disabled vehicles killing four people in Fort Worth.
An 18-wheeler crash on I-35 in Fort Worth has left four people dead. The crash happened on September 11, 2023 about 9:00 p.m. near Berry Street. Two vehicles were involved in a minor collision and a third vehicle stopped to help. All three vehicles were then hit by two 18-wheelers. Four people were killed in this commercial motor vehicle crash including Susana Longoria, Chase Mapes, Jasmine Jones and Kiara Barker. The fatal crash remains under investigation. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a commercial truck crash near Eagle Pass which took the lives of five family members. The crash happened May 28, 2024 and is still under investigation. The Fed Ex truck driver was hospitalized with injuries but survived. Toxicology tests may show whether he was impaired. It remains unknown why he was driving the wrong way.
