Jacob Arredondo arrested for intoxication manslaughter in Dallas.

On June 21, 2024, a suspected drunk driver caused a crash at the intersection of Bonnie View and Simpson Stuart by running a red light. Cameron Horton was driving a blue Chevy sedan and later died from his injuries. Horton was only 18 and looked forward to being a dad soon. He had his whole life ahead of him. Arredondo reportedly told police he had a lot to drink at Buffalo Wild Wings. Police claim his blood alcohol was more than twice the legal limit. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a commercial truck crash near Eagle Pass which took the lives of five family members. The crash happened May 28, 2024 and is still under investigation. The Fed Ex truck driver was hospitalized with injuries but survived. Toxicology tests may show whether he was impaired. It remains unknown why he was driving the wrong way.
