A crash near Preston and Arapaho took the life of Christopher Sanchez when his driver lost control of his SUV and hit a light pole. Daniel Casteneda was identified as the suspected drunk driver and was arrested for intoxication manslaughter. Castaneda reportedly tried to leave the scene of the crash without helping his passenger but was quickly apprehended. The crash reportedly happened around 2:00 a.m. which is closing time for local bars raising the suspicion that Castaneda may have been overserved alcohol. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a commercial truck crash near Eagle Pass which took the lives of five family members.
