A crash on Cowan Road in Bell County took the lives of Hannah Elizabeth Brown and Megan Ja Nell Fink-Maxwell at about 2:00 a.m. on Labor Day. The Texas Department of Public Safety investigated and claimed their driver was going an unsafe speed. A white Dodge pickup turned on its side in the crash. A blood search warrant was executed upon the driver and results are pending. Possible charges include intoxication manslaughter.
