Harris County leads the nation in DWI and intoxication manslaughter arrests.

Labor Day crackdown on Driving While Intoxicated.

The Harris County District Attorney claims that Harris County leads the nation in DWI and intoxication manslaughter arrests. The District Attorney has filed more than 8,000 DWIs or intoxication manslaughter cases through the month of August. Labor Day Weekend is a "no refusal" weekend where refusal to take a breathalyzer test will result in a trip to the Harris County Courthouse where a judge will decide whether probable cause exists for a blood draw. You can then expect a nurse to perform the blood draw on-site. If you plan to drink alcohol this holiday weekend, plan a safe ride home. If you or a loved one have been victimized by drunk driving, call Texas Dram Shop Lawyer for a free consultation.
